Service Description
The Feldenkrais Method has two modalities, A one hour class or a one hour, one-on-one Functional Integration session also referred to as an FI. Functional Integration is a gentle, effective, hands-on, individual approach, widely recognized for its ability to address serious muscular and neurological problems, chronic tension and pain. Learning, change and improvement are achieved through the use of specific skilled movements, individualized for the client’s particular needs. As ar Feldenkrais Practitioner have experienced applying Functional Integration for a wide range of difficulties, such as: Cerebral palsy Multiple sclerosis Repetitive strain injury Scoliosis Stroke Chronic back, neck and shoulder pain Head injuries TMJ pain The issues of performing artists and athletesAwareness Through Movement Would you like to feel more comfortable, relaxed and up-to-date in your body? Do you suffer from back pain, knee or hip pain, shoulder or neck pain, jaw pain or headaches, chronic tension, postural problems, neurological conditions or mobility issues, or are you recovering from an injury? If so, Feldenkais® treatments may help you. What to Expect? Clients remain clothed and rest on a low, padded table. Please be sure to wear comfortable loose clothing, with no belts or anything in pockets. It is suggested that you leave some extra time to rest after the session and also not to plan any physical activities, so that the nervous system has time to integrate the work.
Cancellation Policy
cancellation policy Treatments you select are reserved especially for you. We require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for cancellation of services. If you are within this booking time, and you have already confirmed your service with a phone call to 347-744-9322 then the cancellation policy will be in effect. Without this notification you will be billed for each service. A credit card account number is required at the time of booking. This policy also applies to gift card holders. LATE ARRIVALS All spa appointments have been designed to allow the appropriate time for the full enjoyment of the service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest experience possible. Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled treatments. An un-rushed treatment will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled session. You will be responsible for the full service. Your understanding is appreciated!
